Dsp-5 export license application requirements

The application is a US pilot trainer aircraft cockpit. Because the technology does not belong to our US based company, but rather to the Canadian firm, do we need a license to export their own product to them? On another note, if they want to visit our facility which has security clearance , do we need a license to allow them to come into our plant?
