I have already tried everything in your step one - and even the section on HP where it says what to do if the Windows 7 driver failed to install. The drivers that are close to my product number in the manual download did not work.

After installing them I try to print and nothing happens. I have also tried the Microsoft Fix It thing, and it said that the hp psc series driver is not installed. So I clicked on Apply This Fix. Then a balloon pops up saying that the device software was not successfully installed and says that the driver was not found. This thread is locked.
