Okuma lathe how to use live tool with spindle turning I'm trying to run a live tool drill on center while I'm turning the main spindle on an Okuma lathe with P control.

I'm getting an Error which says that I commanded the live tool without enabling the C axis. Which I did, obviously. Does anyone know how to defeat this interlock? The manual is not forthcoming. This particular tool is pretty tiny and carbide so I need all the speed I can get, and I don't want to have to stop the spindle, drill it and start the spindle again. If I remember correctly, it's just a sequence that needs to be in order. But now I think there is a modal code to run them both.
