Where is the 3rd sage in 3d dot game heroes

Lee suggests meditation, but that doesn't work for her either. Ohtu then states she heard that power can be released through self-stimulus - asking the player to stab her until the magic comes out, something Lee is very reluctant to do at first. Ultimately, Ohtu barely makes it, but just in time and without her untimely death , Ohtu gives the player the Freeze , a Shader Magic. After beating the Aqua Temple, go back to Colneria Village and speak to one of the male villagers.

He will reward you with the Rare Fish sword??? This makes it easy. Another place is the volcano region of G1. Sometimes they'll spawn on ledges with nowhere to go. The most frustrating part is just getting one to appear. Keep your eyes peeled for good chances. Extra note: Several people swear that they have tried to book a Crystal Slime without ever damaging it first, yet it still dies from the Bestiary strikes before the required number of hits.

This hasn't happened to me but someone offered a good explanation, which is that the Bestiary's damage seems to be tied to your sword's strength. So try equipping a weaker sword when attempting this!

Blue Dragon Blue Dragon Example 1. Blue Dragon Example 2. Required hits: 2 Location: Dark Tower 7th floor. Note: The "Princess? It does count as a separate entry even though it doesn't get a spot on the pages of the Bestiary.

However, if you scroll through monster details with the triggers, the "Princess? It's required in order to get the Bestiary trophy as well. Note: The Guardians are the enemies you fought at the very beginning of the game to get the Ancient Sword. You can fight them over again whenever you want. Tip: The easiest way to do this is to reduce Eelagon to just its head, and then stand in the very corner of the room with your shield up.

Eelagon will approach you and hit your shield, then turn. As he begins to turn, hit him with your Bestiary or let him run into it. He'll loop back in a circle afterwards so just repeat this over and over. Tip: If you hit the small drone bees, they count toward the hit count for the boss. Watch out for attacks and then strike whatever is easier.

Tip: This one isn't so bad because he's pretty slow. Record him at the start of the battle when he's the least aggressive. Tip: Hitting tentacles with the Bestiary counts towards the hit count for the boss, so it's not so hard. Stay on the south side of the room and wait for tentacles to emerge nearby. Trick them into trying to hit you and then run up and smack them with the Bestiary before they retract. If the Kraken's body is within reach, go for that as well. Just take care to block the projectiles.

Tip: If you refrain from attacking with your sword and just use the Bestiary from the start of the battle, this shouldn't be terribly difficult. Just block or dodge his fireballs and then run up and hit his head. Tip: Whereas as a boss this guy is a joke, it can be a bit tricky to record him. If you want to be safe you can block his attacks until he charges at you, then step out of the way and use the Bestiary.

However, that could take ages. A speedier method would be to block his sword attacks and then run up and use the Bestiary in his small recoil period. It's not as easy as it sounds, though. You might want to bring along some red potions in case you take a lot of damage. Something to try is to block him and then move around beside him on his sword side and run into him while blocking, then use the Bestiary in the recoil period.

This can sometimes lock him in that one spot for the whole round, and you might get hit less that way. Tip: You must hit the real Fuelle the one with a shadow while Lighting is cast. If you watch out for fireballs you should be okay in terms of health, but the concern here is running out of magic. Even if you've maxed out your magic it might be a good idea to bring along a blue potion or two. If you're efficient you might be able to do it in 5 or 6 casts, but it could take up to 8 depending on luck etc.

Key Items These are in the order they appear on the in-game list of Key Items. Spa Powder Talk to the girl near the north entrance to Colneria, who wants to experience a spa.

Then talk to the man near the entrance at Jim's Shack. You'll come to a zombie-infested area with a central area surrounded by rocks. Walk into the very middle and a message will prompt you to search.

Do so to find it. Water Jar Talk to the man in the central house of Ortego. Green Letter After obtaining the Yellow Letter, talk to the girl who should be somewhere between the potion shop and the inn in Raejack. Fresh Fish Once you have the Cook Book, talk to the girl in Colneria walking around outside, usually near the stairs to the south.

If you've beaten the Aqua Temple, she'll give it to you. Fire Ruby After getting Magic Shield in the Aqua Temple, talk to the man in the far northeast corner of Jim's Shack and he'll tell you he can make a good shield if you bring him a Fire Ruby.

Afterwards, head just outside the Flame Temple. Note the pinkish rock just west of the temple. Follow the narrow path between the cliff and the lava and approach it. A message will pop up. Answer "Yes. You must have given her the Spa Powder already. Now she will request ingredients. After talking to her, talk to the girl walking around the northeast section of Raejack to get the herbs.

Cypress Talk to the girl standing to the right of the two houses in Colneria who wanted to experience a spa. After talking to her, pay the man next to the beds at Wardna's House gol to obtain the cypress. Nice Stone Talk to the girl standing to the right of the two houses in Colneria who wanted to experience a spa. After talking to her, talk to the man closest to the door inside Fina's Inn to receive the Nice Stone. Holy Wood After clearing the Forest Temple, talk to the man in Wardna's house who tells you there's a bat maker in Raejack.

You can find this man by the square in the center of town. He'll tell you that if you bring him materials, he'll make you a bat. Go to the Forest of no Return and head 2 screens down from the sage Indigo. There's a large tree in the center of the screen, and if you walk around to the bottom of it a message pops up only if you talked to the man in Raejack.

Say "Yes. Then talk to the man next to him. Rust Sword Talk to the man on the right at the Raejack blacksmith shop. Then after the Flame Temple, talk to the guy near the entrance in Fina's Inn. Small Ring In a chest inside the Desert Temple. Autograph Paper This requires you to have completed the dancer event at Ortego.

See the Event Checklist for details. After getting the Light Orb, talk to the man in the northeast area of Ortego who is standing by a fence. He will request an autograph from the dancer Mary. If you accept, he'll give you the autograph paper. White Stuff Walk in front of the woman in the center of From Cave area A3 and you'll automatically find it.

Amethyst After clearing the Flame Temple, talk to one of the girls standing around the center of town in Colneria and she'll ask you to be her friend. This event disappears once you clear the Wind Temple. Talk to the girl walking outside in Colneria, usually near the southern staircase the same one who gave you the fresh fish. She will request Ebon Pepper.

Afterwards, go to the northeast corner of Ortego, where a second salesman should have appeared next to the first one. Pay him gol to buy it. Light Gem After obtaining the Ebon Pepper, talk to the girl who requested it at the south end of Colneria.

Ribbon Talk to a girl at the Colneria inn after clearing the Aqua Temple. Satori Note Examine the corpse in the first room of the Flame Temple.

Demolisher After clearing the Aqua Temple but before clearing the Flame Temple, talk to the man, Moyomoto, who is now at the very north end of Colneria. Come back and talk to him again after clearing the Flame Temple but before clearing the Wind Temple. There should be two people there now. Finally, talk to him again after getting the Light Orb, when there will now be three people. He'll give you the sword.

Falcon Ball Talk to the man next to the bed at Hotel Nialliv. Destroyer Once you have the Falcon Ball and the Demolisher, take them to the man on the right at the blacksmith shop at Raejack and he'll give it to you.

Talk to the new man who is standing in front of the central house of Ortego to get the book. This event disappears once you clear the Aqua Temple. Awesome Bomb Obtained automatically in cave 7 at the volcano, on the way to the Flame Temple. See the Volcano Path section for more details and cave numbering. Armored Core Talk to the man on the right at the Raejack inn, who wants to create a mech game, before clearing the Grass Temple.

After clearing the temple he'll move to From Cave area A3. Talk to him there before clearing the Desert Temple. Afterwards, talk to him at the cave every time you beat a temple. You'll see the number of people at the cave increase each time. Open it to obtain the Small Ring.

Now you have to backtrack to the boss room. The lazy man's way is to save and then load, and use the teleporter to get there instantly. Otherwise go west, west, north, east, and up the stairs. These attacks can all be avoided by running in a counter-clockwise circle around him. Simply wait for him to attack, and once you're out of range of the attack hack away at him.

After several hits, he will lose his lower half and get faster. This is when he gets fist-happy. You might need to maintain a bit more distance from him to avoid all the shock waves, but continue the same general pattern of running counter-clockwise and striking him when he's busy shooting lasers.

Note that his vulnerable spots at this point are his arms. Each arm will be destroyed after a few hits. Once he's lost his arms, Giga Golem will start hopping around and go laser-crazy. He adds one new attack in this phase, which is to leap high in the air and create a big shock wave as he lands only his high jumps cause shock waves. When he does this, run as far away as possible, as the range of this attack is significant. Other than that, follow the same pattern for avoiding his lasers and he'll go down in a few more hits.

When he finally goes down, take the gol and the Life Up and head into the orb room to get yourself the Orange Orb and also another Wind Wing from the chest in the corner.

Then exit the temple. Now that you have the Wire Rod, a whole lot of areas on the world map open up. The first thing you should do, however, is return to Candata Inn and talk to the lady by the beds, who happens to be Octane, the 3rd sage.

She'll give you the magic spell Normal Map. These are two new optional quests that I'm setting aside because of their particular usefulness. If you head south from Ortego on the west side, you'll soon see a bombable wall near a staircase. Now that you have the Wire Rod, you can explore it.

Avoid the traps and enemies within, and you'll find the Holy Sword at the end. This sword is vastly superior to anything else available at this point, so use it from now on. Once you have that, another thing that will be extremely useful is the Anchor Rod. It's basically an upgraded Wire Rod with added range. To get it, cross the river east of the castle and head north.

You will eventually come to some stairs with a sign saying the Sukaboko Highlands are up ahead. Use your Wire Rod to cross the gap and then head north and west, using the Wire Rod once more.

You will come to a screen with Centauses and falling rocks. Notice the grooves in the cliff to the north. If you step in the second groove from the right, you will activate an invisible warp! Head east and up a set of stairs to obtain the Anchor Rod. From the location of the chest, head east and south to reach the return warp. Read the sign to your right after warping before hopping down the cliff, as it is one of the special signs. In fact, you can now access all of them.

If you care to venture into a few new areas on your own, you can check out the Special Signboards section to get them all and earn yourself a life upgrade, a magic upgrade, and the Super Key. With the Super Key you can open all colored doors without worrying about having specific colored keys for them.

But you can also buy colored keys now, by visiting Jim's Shack on the eastern side of the Highlands. They cost gol each. This means there are plenty of life upgrades and such to be found in caves and chests. If you want to go looking for them, refer to the World Map section. While I often point out items on the way to the next objective, the main walkthrough itself will by no means cover everything on the field.

One last notable area of interest, however, is King Block's cave, located east of the castle in area E2. To reach it you have to grapple across the river from east to west. King Block will trade you several different swords for Small Blocks.

See the Swords section for details. Afterwards, you'll want to head to Colneria Village, which is just south of the castle if you haven't been there yet. There are a couple of things to do here before moving on to the next temple. Log In Sign Up. Keep me logged in on this device Forgot your username or password? Don't have an account? Search Tip If you'd like to use your browser's search function to find something across the entire guide, please scroll to the very bottom of the page and select one of the options where it says "View as a single printable page. Version History 0. Some English translations modified. Spelunker mode section added. Minigames section in progress. Initial guide finished!

Place names, major item names, character names, and enemy names should be correct. Corrected the first few trophies and a few swords and Key Items. More to come.

Fixed a few assorted minor mistakes. Trophies should also be pretty much done. Fixed several mistakes and added extra information. Other minor corrections. Added a Miscellanea section which includes shops, bottles, and info about the Anchor Rod. Up to 6 now! Only one left strategies welcome! Temple maps coming soon! Also fixed an incorrect sword stat.

Controls The controls for this game are fairly straightforward: X is the "action" button. It is used to open doors, talk, swing the sword, etc.

Square is the "dash" button that you use to dash once you obtain Dash Boots or Miracle Boots. Triangle is the "menu" button, which opens up the item menu.

Using R1 and L1 you can switch to the status screen and the sword screen. L1 is the "map" button, and bring up the world map. In temples it will instead bring up the temple map. The Start button pauses the game.

From the pause menu you can save, load, take snapshots, view your bestiary, and tweak settings such as camera style and text speed. Circle is the "item" button, which uses a secondary item. You can press L2 and R2 to cycle through secondary items without selecting them from the item menu. R1 is the "guard" button, which makes you use the shield.

Sword It doesn't always take the form of a sword, but this is your weapon. Shield You know, that thing you use to block. Gol The basic unit of currency in Dotnia. Apples There are two varieties of apple: red and green. Magic Containers Magic containers will restore one vial of magic. Potions Potions will restore different amounts and combinations of health and magic. Colored Keys This game has 3 special types of colored locks red, blue, and green in temples and a few other places.

Key Items Key items are items that you receive from various sidequests and events. Store Items There are a few items that are sold frequently and are occasionally worth purchasing. Playable Characters When you start a new game and every time you load up a save, you can pick which character you want to play as. Ledges Lots of people don't seem to realize that in this game there are ledges you can hop down. Crowned Enemies Some enemies will have a crown over their head at random. Attacking In 3D Dot Game Heroes, any sword that has the "spin" attribute can be rotated after pressing the "action" button to attack.

Sword Upgrading Tips Since most swords don't give you enough upgrade points to max them out, you often have to prioritize what matters. Dashing Dashing seems like a faster way to get around at first, but every time you hit a wall it causes you to crash and stall for a moment, which is annoying. Raejack Village Technically you can head straight to the first temple already, but there are several useful things to do first.

These are the things I recommend doing right now: North Raejack Village. West Raejack Village. Boss Battle: Eelagon The first thing to note is that with your current shield, you cannot block his projectiles. After the Grass Temple After a small inspirational speech, you are once again on the main field. Beat it in under 25 seconds for gol, and under 20 seconds for a Small Block. This is the first of two Dash Circuit minigames.

See the Dash Circuit section for details. Buy the Bow from the same shop for 30 gol. Buy the Iron Shield if you haven't already. Love Letter event sequence must be done in order : Talk to the left guard in front of the castle and he'll give you the Red Letter. Talk to the woman near the potion shop in Raejack and she'll give you the Blue Letter. Talk to the girl in Raejack who should be somewhere between the potion shop and the inn for the Green Letter.

Finally, talk to the castle guard again and he'll reward you with a Life Shard. There are 4 Demon's Souls parody events in the cave that you can do right now: Walk next to the left-most standing man and a message will pop up saying "I'm in trouble! Please recommend this message! Walk around in front of the man by the pit and a message will pop saying "It's safe here.

Examine the corpse on the left and receive the Hero's Soul. Statue Puzzle. Boss Key Puzzle. After the Forest Temple The first thing you should do is talk to Indigo, who will give you the magic spell Reflect. Winning earns you gol, and a perfect clear earns you a Small Block. This is the first of 5 Block Defense minigames. See the Block Defense section for details. Bomb the cracked wall just southeast of From Cave and open the chest inside for an easy Life Shard. If you talk to a man in Wardna's house, he tells you there's a bat maker in Raejack.

You can find this man by the square in the center of town. He'll tell you that if you bring him materials, he'll make you a bat. Then return to the man in Wardna's House and he'll tell you there's some good wood in the Forest of no Return.

Afterwards, go to the Forest of no Return and head 2 screens down from the sage Indigo. There's a large tree in the center of the screen, and if you walk around to the bottom of it a message pops up but only if you were directed to the forest by the man. Say "Yes" and you'll find the Holy Wood. Talk to the bat maker again in Raejack and he'll give you a new sword, the Wood Bat. The path to Ortego Village For more stuff to open up, we first have to travel to a new area.

As usual, there are a number of available things before rushing straight to the next temple: Talk to the old lady near the entrance and she'll ask you to bring dancers from Raejack. Return to Raejack and talk to the two girls, Mina and Mary, who are standing north of the town square. They'll head over to Ortego. Note that if it's your first time talking to them, you need to go in a house and come back and talk to them a second time for the event to trigger.

Afterwards, return to Ortego and talk to the lady near the weapon shop for a Life Shard. Open the chest in the northwest house for a Life Shard approach the chest from the left.

Buy another Empty Bottle from the salesman in the northeast corner of the village for gol. Talk to the three people lined up below the northeast salesman for a little event. This is time-sensitive. It must be done before clearing the Desert Temple. The man in the house right above the entrance will ask you for gol. Stay at an inn there isn't one directly in this village and then talk to him again, and he'll ask for another Repeat the process 2 more times and he'll give you a Life Shard.

Talk to the girl in the southeast house and accept for an interesting event The girl in the potion shop will let you play Blockout. Beat all 5 levels for a Life Shard , and get a no-miss clear to earn a sword, the Luck Mallet. The game is significantly easier with a maxed out Wing Sword.

See the Blockout section for details. The man in the central house will give you a Water Jar. Talk to the woman near the cat at the very south end of Colneria Village which is just south of the castle to receive Water.

Return to the man in the house for a Life Shard. The bottom chest cannot be obtained at this time, so return west and then go west again. Bomb the north wall and head through. Ignore the chest and the Knight and step on the cracked tile to fall down to floor B4. Use Reflect to protect from the Magi and shooting blocks, and take the Key from the chest.

Then grapple across and exit south. Instead of going up the staircase, push the movable block in the northwest section of the room and exit south again. This room contains another spike block puzzle just like a previous temple. If you have the Wing Sword with a maxed out "special" stat, you and just equip it and run across the room safely. Otherwise, as before, use the movable blocks to block the first two spikes, and run past the remaining three.

Then exit south. Kill the Cyclops in this room from a safe distance across the gap, and then take the Key from the chest that appears. Then backtrack north. Cross the spike room the same way as you did before, just using the movable blocks at the bottom of the room this time. Then head north once more and take the stairs up to B3.

Then go east and return up to B2. Go south from the dark room and finally take the stairs back up to B1. Return south twice and then use a key to open the west door and enter it. You can ignore the enemies in this room and just take the staircase down to B2. Do the same in the next room, and take the stairs to B3. There is another dark room here. There is now a choice. There is a section of the temple containing a Bomb Sack upgrade, a Green Key, and some gol which is completely optional.

If you'd like to pursue those items, read the following enclosed section. Otherwise, skip below it. Take the staircase in the northeast corner of the dark room down to floor B4. Head south into another dark room containing Magi. Use a Candle so you can see where you're going, and then hit the floor switch in the northwest corner to unlock the door.

Then go east. If you kill all 3 Bats in this room, a chest with a Green Key will appear in the middle of the room. Be careful not to get blown off the edge trying to get it. Then continue east. Go north and take the staircase down to B5. Once on B5, kill hit the red floor switch to open the door and head north.

Be careful of the enemies here. You may want to Freeze them. The chest in the center contains gol. Bomb the north wall and enter the next room to finally find the man who will upgrade your Bomb Sack for gol.

This is the last such upgrade. If you've gotten them all so far, your maximum number of bombs will now be Afterwards, backtrack all the way until you return to the dark room on B3. Head east, and then use your remaining key to unlock the door and go east once more.

Then take the stairs up to B2. Be careful with the Knight here and make your way around the room. Exit east. Wasn't it nice in the last temple where we didn't have any of these?

Anyhow, you can use a Green Key or the Super Key to go south here, in which case you'll find a chest containing a Magic Up. Just watch out for that mean Black Knight within. Then return north to the dark room and take the east exit.

In this room, take the northeast staircase up to B1. This room contains a timed switch puzzle. You can just push the movable block in the room to the right and leave it permanently on top of the switch there.

Then simply hit the other switch and exit south. Use Reflect and then grapple around the room. Take the Key from the southeast chest and then hit the red floor switch to open, but not enter, the door. That permanently opens up a path from the 3rd room of the temple. However, instead of going through the door, return north, and then go north one more time into a dark room. This room is full of bats and holes.

Go north from here, and then west be careful with the wind. Push movable blocks onto the two blue switches to open the door and continue north. Then take the stairs down to B2 and go west. To open the next door, you have to shoot the target on the west wall with an arrow.

To do this safely you must first push the movable block down to block the wind. Make sure the block is as far east as possible or your arrow won't hit the target. Once the door is open, go north. The enemy combination in this room is abominable. Magi, a Black Knight, and spike traps. While you don't have to kill any of them to proceed, the safest way to avoid damage would be to Freeze the room. Whatever you do, head west into the next room. Avoid the wind and grapple the pole, then head west once more.

You can ignore the Knights in here if they aren't assaulting you. Step on the cracked tile second from the left to safely fall down to the next floor. When you land, take the Key from the chest next to you. The quickest way to continue at this point is to save your game, then load to start at the beginning of the temple. From the first room, we need to backtrack a bit. Go north, north, east, north, north, north. Then go east into a new room. Open the chest in here to finally obtain the Temple Map.

Then take the staircase down to B2. The timed switch puzzle here requires precise movement. Start in the southeast corner, then southwest, and finally northwest. A chest will appear at the top of the room. Waste no time in walking over to it and open it quickly to get gol before it disappears. Then use a key to head east.

There are more cracked tiles here. Step on the top-left one to safely fall to B3. Run up and open the chest to get the Boss Key , then step on the second tile from the left to fall to B4. Push the movable block and kill all the enemies in the room to make a chest appear containing a Small Block. Then step on the solitary tile to fall to B5. Hit the switch to open the door, then exit south. The chest in this room contains gol.

Take it, then head up the staircase. Hit the red switch to open the door and exit north. Then take the staircases back up to B2.

Go west and take the staircase to B1. Once back on the first floor, head west and then south to the dark room. Bomb the west wall here and enter. Step on the cracked tile to fall down to floor B2. Open the chest to get the Gold Ring! This ring will halve all damage you take.

Grapple across and head south into the dark room. Then go east, and use your key to go east once more. Push the movable blocks out of your way and step on the cracked tile in the center of the room to fall down to floor B3. First, go south. Kill all the enemies to open the door as well as make a chest appear. Open it to get gol, and then return north. Hit the two timed switches from east to west and enter the newly opened door.

Then navigate around the room and go north. Open the chest in the center of the room for gol and then step on the cracked tile next to it to fall to B4. Kill the annoying Black Knight to open the door and head north. Ignore the cracked wall to the west for now and take the staircase down to B5. Bomb the north wall here and go through. Use Parallax to see the puzzle solution. Then head south twice to apply this solution.

The room contains two Knights and a Black Knight, so if you have enough magic I recommend freezing them and killing them quickly. To solve the puzzle, push the statues onto the two bottom switches and the two switches second from the top. Open the chest that appears to obtain the Miracle Boots.

These boots will let you dash if you never got the Dash Boots, as well as allow you walk on the poison swamp. Once you have the boots, backtrack north and up the stairs.

Bomb the west wall and enter. Go west once more. If you hit the 3 red switches on the west wall, a chest containing another Green Key will appear. You can use the movable block to block the first wind-blowing statue and use the Boomerang on the switches in safety.

Then take the staircase up. Go north and open the chest for the final Key in this temple. Then return south, down the stairs, and east. This time go south. Ignore the Black Knight and take the staircase down. Then use your key to go north. Carefully traverse this windy room and go north once more. Avoid the lone Black Knight here to finally reach the end of the temple.

If you want to play this battle conservatively, just block or avoid his attacks from afar until he tries to charge at you. Move out of the way when he does and then strike him in the back before he recovers. Rinse and repeat. After a while he may start teleporting around the room before starting his next attack, but this doesn't make the battle any harder. A much faster way to kill him, however, is to exploit the moment of vulnerability he gets after his sword attack is blocked.

Instigate him with your sword and then approach him with your shield up. When you are close to him, he is likely to either try to slash you or teleport. If he teleports, instigate him again and approach him again. If he slashes you, block the slash and then immediately counter with a slash of your own. You can hit him directly from the front this way.

After hitting him, put your shield back up and see if he tries to attack again or decides to teleport away. Just repeat this process. If you get used to his patterns, there is a good chance that you'll be able to kill him without him ever pulling off an attack, other than hacking in vain at your shield. If you have a long sword, there is an even easier way to kill him. This is based around the fact that his is vulnerable to direct strikes during the start-up animation of every one of his attacks.

If you have good reach from around the center of the room, you should be able to quickly slash at him without moving, no matter where he teleports. Simply wait for him to start an attack and then hit him.

If he tries to do the shockwave, he will still slash his sword, but when you hit him it stops the shockwave from ever launching. The beauty of it is that if you attack too early, it will merely stun him for a moment. So if you are not sure of the timings at first, you can play it safe and attack frequently until you get it down. All it will cost you is a bit of time.

Once the boss is down, take the Life Up and coins, then go into the back room to get the Purple Orb and the customary Wind Wing from the chest. Log In Sign Up. Getting the Magic Shield Grapple your way around the dark room and exit through the east door. Boss Battle: Kraken This is the first boss that can prove tough at first. Tentacles take 3 hits to destroy, and they have a color-coded progression: At first, tentacles will be red. Red tentacles stand up straight and then slap down onto you when you come in range. After one hit, tentacles will become orange.

Orange tentacles will either slap at you multiple times or sweep back and forth at ground level, covering an arc of about 90 degrees. After two hits, tentacles become yellow. Yellow tentacles wait for you to come into range and then sweep in full circles at ground level.
